Goeland, the Video Game: Soon You’ll Be Able to Play as a Seagull!

The sun-drenched coastline stretches out before you, waves lapping lazily against the shore. But this isn’t your typical beach day. No, my friend, this is where feathers meet chaos, where squawks replace dialogue, and where the sky becomes your playground.

Remember Goat Simulator 3? Of course you do. Who could forget the absurdity of a goat wreaking havoc in a suburban neighborhood? And then there was Untitled Goose Game, where we honked our way through gardens, stole hats, and generally made life miserable for unsuspecting villagers. Well, hold onto your breadcrumbs because the indie gaming world is about to unleash a new feathered fiend upon us: Goeland.

In this upcoming indie gem, you’ll take off as a mischievous seagull, in a sandbox-style open-world environment. From playful pranks to selfless deeds, be a feathered troublemaker or a helpful hero.

Goeland is an indie video game developed by Bryan Martinet (a solo game developer operating as “Maarti Games.”) The game is planned to be released on Steam for PC, and according to the developer, more platforms will be available after the initial release.

Bryan is a former Eidos Montréal employee impacted by the industry-wide layoffs, who then embarked on a solo journey to create his own game.

Bryan continued doing what he does best: developing video games, and decided to bring us this soon-to-be-released gem of a game.
