If you’re wondering what is happening, Concord, Sony’s ambitious team-based online shooter, had a rather dramatic exit. Imagine a game that spent eight years in development—eight years!—only to be yanked off the digital shelves just two weeks after its debut on August 23 2024.
It turns out that Concord didn’t quite capture the hearts and wallets of players like Sony had hoped. In fact, it barely made a blip on the gaming radar.
Let’s hope Sony chooses a better strategy when publishing future games.
