Black Myth: Wukong Deemed Most Downloaded Game On PlayStation 5 Store

According to the PlayStation Store August 2024 download rankings report, Black Myth: Wukong topped as the #1 most downloaded game on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 5 in the USA and Canada for August 2024.

Black Myth: Wukong is an action role-playing game with Soulslike elements, played from a third-person perspective, and it draws inspiration from the classical Chinese novel “Journey to the West.”

It is further not surprising that Grand Theft Auto (GTA) V is still in the top 10 most downloaded games, ranking #4. Especially with the anticipation towards GTA VI, players seem to have restarted playing GTA V so that their transition to the sequel is smoother.

EA Sports did exceptionally well: Madden NFL 25 and College Football 25 are ranked #2 and #3 respectively.
