If you’re like most other players that have finished all missions and tasks there are in Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5 along with discovering all its hidden secrets, you have probably reached a point where boredom is rising. GTA RP (Grand Theft Auto Roleplay) mod is a great solution for that.
You often hear about GTA RP Mod from Twitch or YouTube streamers playing GTA 5.
What is GTA RP?
GTA RP is an abbreviation for Grand Theft Auto Roleplay, and it is a mod with a huge player-base. This mode got popular thanks to FiveM which has added a lot of new features to the game and the ability for players to interact with each other in a Role Playing manner – for example, you might like to play as a cop and others as civilians. You might want to do heists with gangs and then other players would play as the cops, and way more. It is a world of imagination.
You might need to work for money, and pay for food and a shelter above your head, and even create relationships inside the game. You can be anything:
- A thief stealing banks and stores.
- A mechanic so you can get paid to fix cars.
- A regular civilian with a job and a normal life.
- A doctor healing patients.
- A cop writing tickets and conducting arrests.
How to Install and Play the GTA RP Mod
First off, you need to make sure your system satisfies the system requirements of FiveM. The system requirements are the following:

- Windows 11
- Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2 GHz / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4 GHz, or equivalent and/or better.
- NVIDIA GTX 660 2 GB / AMD HD 7870 2GB, or equivalent and/or better.
- 16 GB RAM or more.
- 72GB + 8 GB HDD or better.
Minimum System Requirements
- Windows 10
- Intel Core 2 Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz / AMD Phenom 9850 @ 2.5GHz.
- NVIDIA 9800 GT 1 GB / AMD HD 4870 1 GB / Intel HD GT2
- 8 GB RAM
- 72GB + ~ GB HDD or better.
If your system satisfies the minimum / recommended requirements, the second step would be downloading the FiveM mod from here: FiveM website. After downloading it, you must install the mod by launching the FiveM.exe file that you downloaded, then start FiveM from your Windows start menu.
Then, you must enroll in the GTA RP Client according to the instructions written in the FiveM client.
