PvP (Hourglass) Curses

Skeleton Curse – 1

The Skeleton Curse transforms your pirate into a skeleton, rattling your bones as you walk. It is considered one of the coolest looking curses in Sea of Thieves. You can customize the appearance of your Skeleton Curse a lot (after unlocking the necessary cosmetics) and gain access to a special emote wheel. Unlocking this curse also grants access to the Reaper’s Lair.(Located under the Reaper’s Hideout)

So, how do you unlock it?

To obtain the Skeleton Curse, reach level 75 in the Reaper’s Bones and Allegiance level 100 in the Servants of the Flame faction. Depending on your PvP skills, this can require sinking 120-150 enemy ships. The Golden Skeleton, an add-on rather than a curse, can be unlocked by reaching Allegiance level 1000 in the Servants of the Flame faction.

Thank you. I haven’t played Sea of Thieves in a while, and I didn’t even know what these curses were when I saw them in the cosmetics. These are really cool, and I’m guessing by the Athena’s fortune one that Pirate Legends now go past level 10, ha!
